This is not a tent! It's a rain fly for a beach tent.,

I was mistaken in buying this product because it looks like the ad says that this product is a pop up tent with the option of getting a raincover. I guess I didn't read too well into the info section but, it really does look like a funny looking tent.
This product received bad reviews because it is a rainfly for the Genji Beach Tent not a tent. If you want a beach tent and regular size family tent buy both these product together. It sounds like a good idea to me but, not what I was looking for. The rainfly itself looks very nice and good quality for it's price. I'm sure a fine family beach and camp combo. I hope I can clear the air for anyone else who might overlook these important details like I did. Happy camping!

I can not believe how stupid these people are...,

Are people really this stupid??? The ad is as clear as day: "Cover your Genji Sports Push Up Instant Tent with this waterproof fly" "Optional waterproof cover for Genji Sports push up instant beach tent, it was designed to convert Genji push up beach tent to regular camping tent" At least three people posted to the world that they still just can't figure out how to put the dern thang tagither... gotta be missin some perts or sumptin. LMAO! Then the one who finally realized that she only purchased a cover, one which SHE states is "very nice and good quality" actually has audacity to give it three stars.. minus two for tricking me! Hahahaha! "i haven't even recieved it yet and my son's hoping to go with friends camping and now i have to tell him no cause he don't have no tent great...your right it don't really tell you its a rain fly it says its optional" - Hahaha! I get the feeling this kind of stuff happens to that poor kid more than she'd like to admit... just a hunch. Anyway, cover works as it was designed to. Didn't get it here, but have used it. Does a decent job for light rain or the occasional short flurry, but for anything more, you'd probably be better off with an actual waterproof tent. Main gripe is the cover is $20 and the tent itself is only about $40-$50. 50% the cost of the tent seems kinda steep for an accessory... Buy the beach tent (+/- the rain cover) for the beach and a separate light weight hiking tent for any real camping. Just my 2 cents.

I received the tent without the fiberglass poles in order to keep the tent up.
I tried to contact Genji Sports by phone or email without any answer. I tried Amazon's customer service because they for sure will be able to talk with one of their providers, right? wrong. So I am stuck with a tent that is more like a parka. Thanks Genji Sports!!
