I have to say that I'm quite impressed by this little tent. It took literally less than five minutes to get this tent up and running, including getting the rain fly over it and staking it into the ground. The tent was large enough to accommodate two adults with a twin size air mattress, while still leaving some room to throw our bags at our feet.

The reason why this product deserves a five star rating is because it impressively withstood a five hour non stop rainstorm, with wind, and it didn't blow away or leak all over our heads. (okay. I had a couple of piddles mysteriously drop onto my head, but I never did figure out where exactly they were coming from.) The tent tolerated us getting in and out during the rain and it didn't get all messy. Nice. In the morning, this great little tent was a cinch to wipe down and even easier to fold down and pack away. The tent directions comes with a web address that links to a video that shows you how to fold this great little invention away. Practice a couple of times and it's like riding a bike. You get hooked!

Seriously great tent product, pretty inexpensive, and lightning FAST set-up!!

I immediately wanted to try it out to see if it really expanded as easy as the description says it does and it totally did!! My little kitty immediately then wanted to go inside and sleep the rest of the day in it..hehe!!

And then it fit right back into the very lightweight bag that came with it. I also purchased the tent cover (because the original tent has see-thru mesh on the top portion of all sides). The product comes with easy instructions on how to open the tent up and also how to fold it back up for placing back in the bag.

The tent and the separately-purchased tent cover both come with plastic stakes that you use to attach the tent loops into the ground (took us like 5 min. to do this function!).

Great for the beach, camping, or wherever!

It will definitely fit my husband and I - and has ample leg room lengthwise as well - for our camping trip next weekend! Diane :)

The vendor is fantastic to work with; very responsive to my myriad e-mails. The tents (I ordered 3) arrived quickly.

It was a breeze to set up (like shaking a sheet and having your bed automatically made). I had to watch the online video demo on folding it back up, but then it was very easy to repack into its handy carrying bag.

I especially like that it is open and airy on all sides, for plenty of air ventilation. This is especially important in Arizona. I use it for "tent time" to play with my sugar gliders in a safe, enclosed space. The only thing it lacks is little loops to hang toys or goodies on (for this purpose).

I bought this tent for the sole purpose of playing with my 2 sugar gliders. They have plenty of room to jump around and climb. Very well built. Easy to pop up and pop down. The gliders love it so much.

Popped up easily - putting away is a little trickier, but it appears to be more durable than I thought it would be. Also, it's very roomy for a quick beach tent or whatever. Obviously you wouldn't want it if you needed privacy because of the screens, but that's why I wanted it - to allow maximum circulation. I had planned on using it as a cat enclosure - a cat pen, where I could put food in one corner & a litter box in the other, because our cat has lost his common sense & is using the bathroom wherever he fins it to be convenient instead of where he's supposed to... When I got it, though - I was reluctant to put the cat stuff in there because I kind of want to use it at the beach next time I go now.

The main motivation for buying this is that they offered it with the Free Supersaver Shipping. The Genji shipping price makes the tent too expensive.

I also have the "Genji Sports Pop Up Family Beach Tent And Beach Sunshelter." The instructions for collapsing this shelter are on a piece of paper, which I put in the zippered pocket found in the bag this tent goes into. The beach shelter has the instructions on fabric which is sewn into its bag. This would be a nice update for this tent. I found the instructions to be all I needed to put it away, but there is an excellent video showing how to do this on You Tube. The beach shelter also has an sewn in elastic band which will hold it together when it is collapsed this would be nice addition for this tent. They also added tie down straps to the beach shelter, which again would be nice addition for thIs tent. The additions they made for the sun shelter shows that the company is listening to the problem customers mentioned about that unit. It would be nice to see them on this tent.

I got this unit late in the season, but I am hoping to use this as an extra tent for family camping and on those hot summer days to sleep outside when the house is too hot.

It's very clear and I mastered the technique in no time. Thanks to the guy who made this. Saved me a lot of frustration.

Otherwise the tent is excellent. I took it to Maine and put it up outside the cottage for sunning,napping, and reading and it was great. It stayed up several days with no problems. Did purchase the tent cover as well, and advise doing so. The tent sides are all screen, and the cover allows you to produce some shade if you want it. I think it would serve quite well for light overnight camping. It seems well made, and I expect to get good use from it. Highly recommended.

I was so disappointed to find that my 3 week old Gengi tent was torn this morning when I went to fold it up. I'm pretty sure it's torn due to wear, but it's only been folded up about 5 times. Granted it has been used on a daily basis since receiving it (I use it to play in with my sugar gliders), but it is torn near where you grip to fold it up - exposing the wire. I can't return it because it's been used so many times. I will probably place duct tape over the rip to prevent it from getting worse.

I really like the tent, it has mesh sides and 3 adults can fit inside. It has a large footprint when open, but closes up really easily and fits into carrying bag for compact portability.

Despite the fact that I like the tent, I now regret spending that much money on something that is of poor enough quality to rip w/in a month of ownership.

We bought this tent because we were looking for something to contain and protect our 10 mnth old in the back yard while we did yard work. Its very slick, light duty, but exactly what we were looking for, inexpensive and easy to set up and take down. Its big enough that I can put the exersaucer in it too, so she has something to stand with and still have plenty of room to play. I can also join her and took a nap in it with her one afternoon while she was playing. I'm finally getting the hang of folding it back up, rather genius design. Even with the rather pricey shipping, I felt it was a good deal.

The tent is great for tent time with my Sugar Gliders. They can climb the mesh & jump without the noise from the botton that most tents have, no way for them to slip out with 3 zippers to secure openings. Set up & fold down takes seconds. GREAT tent.
