This tea lacks soul and conviction. The tea is bland, and not toasty amazing which I'm typically used to. I'm now left with two giant sacks of crappy tea.

I love Genmiacha tea, and was pretty disappointed with this tea's effort. I mean it looks nice, the price is right, but alas the taste is not unfortunately.

Just as a yard stick, I do love Argo Tea and Tea Gschwendner versions of this tea.

I'm ususally a HUGE fan of Genmaicha, but this one was a bit bitter with a less than desirable smell. The quality of the tea appeared to be good, I didn't see any stems. The rice was a bit browner than I've seen many times, and perhaps the type of green tea didn't allow for sweetness. ???? Overall for the price you can't beat it, but I would advise only steeping for 2mins. :)
