5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!, September 15, 2009

FREDDY LONDON (East Twickenham, Middlesex United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Genocide (Audio CD)
I'm simply addicted to this unconventional and original brutal death metal from this crazy band. On this, their third outing (discounting the techno release III) the production is considerably better along with a more focused and grind sound. The music, as on the previous two albums of Human's Pain and Murders Concept remains complex and highly unconventional in structure and requires repeat listening to fully appreciate. However the music is never self indulgent or pretentious but powers along packed with great riffs, fluid guitar solos, ripping bass all held together with fantastic, creative and original drumming.
I am genuinely sad that this band is no more. With the talent and creativity displayed here, they clearly had much more to offer and frankly, after listening to this, most other bands sound boring.
Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! CRUSHING TECHNICAL DEATH/GRIND, February 4, 2005
This review is from: Genocide (Audio CD)
This band just keeps outdoing themselves. Human's Pain, their previous album for me, set a new standard of technicality, brutality, speed and creative songwriting. Genocide is an excellent follow up album and contains the same supreme musicianship found on Yattering's first 2 albums. The drummer of this band sounds like Neil Peart on crack! The guitarwork is atonal, melodic, dissonant, and extremely brutal all at the same time. There is so much going on in the songs that I would not reccomend listening to it all at once. Listen to this band's music in small lethal doses so you can absord the complete brilliance of their music and not miss anything. Each time I listen to this band's music, I hear something I didnt' hear before. I wont even go into describing each song because they ALL KICK MAJOR A. If you like technical Deathmetal this album is an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. BUY THIS OR DIE A LOOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
