I have the 2nd generation iPod touch. My biggest complaint is that there are no cut outs for the external volume button (which is a great feature on the iPod touch if your screen is always "asleep" like mine). They completely cover it with this case giving no access whatsoever.

It fits snug into the case widthwise. I only think it is because the entire inside is lined in felt to prevent scratches to the iPod itself (very nice). But it doesn't latch very tight. You have access to all your plugins on the bottom (earphones, USB). Your sleep/wake button is a little tough to get to for the case is just slightly longer than the iPod so the sleep/wake button is kind of hidden inside the case some. If you have bigger fingers you won't be able to reach that button.

The material is a very light weight material and it fits comfortably in your hand. The stand however is very tough to open. It's made of plastic and the clip that holds the stand in place can break very easily if you use too much force when opening the stand to prop up.

All in all I'm not entirely happy with this product and will be returning it to try something else. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps :)

Silver Aluminium Hard Case for iPod Touch with BeltClip

Though my case is actually black, it is the same as this silver one. Asthetically, it's okay--it's sleek, form-fitting, not terribly bulky (though it adds a good bit of weight to the iPod). The rotating belt clip is great, but when it comes to clipping, you have to have a belt loop or something because the clip has no spring--it latches shut. This can be inconvienent sometimes. The clip works great as a kickstand for watching videos and movies, but because the case itself is so smooth, it slides a bit on countertops, folders, essentially any smooth surface (iit needs silicone or rubber grips on the side, which would also make it easier to hold). Also, the aluminum case has sharp edges around the cutouts for the hold button, head phone jack, etc. It's not painful, just uncomfortable to hold. It makes the hold button very hard to get at, and does not cut out a spot for the ambient light sensor either. But my biggest issue with this product is, after just a few short weeks of use, the latch that clips the case on has worn loose---it pops open at the slightest pressure and cannot take any sort of impact! (thankfully I've only ever dropped my iPod while either wearing headphones, which caught the iPod as the case fell away, or I've been standing over carpet.) I thought the price on these cases were too good to be true. Turns out, I was right. I will never encase my precious iPod touch in such a cheap, shoddy, ill-concieved case EVER again.

After using this case for 3 days I was so frustrated I almost sold my Itouch and went back to my old Ipod 30g.

The latch does not close firmly or at least make a "click" sound so that you feel that it is secure. You cannot reach the on/off button on top of your Itouch unless you have long fingernails because it is wedged inside of the case. The kick-stand is useless because it does not lean back enough to allow the Itouch to be comfortably stable. Lastly, it is very difficult to insert a charging cable because the Itouch does not fit properly inside of the case.

On the plus side - the turquoise/blue color is great. And I hope that my garbageman appreciates it when he sees it in the bag this week-end.

This product is too bulky and does not fit well. it also does not close properly and is very easy to crack the case open with the slightest drop. if you're looking for protection for your iPod touch, then look else where. the rubber cases are your best bets in my opinion. The screen protector that came with it was good nontheless.

I am clumbsy and prone to dropping things. Actually the more expensive it is, I'm more likely to drop it... anyways this case is perfect to protect my iPod from just that

I bought the silver one, and though it does look nice and the film covers for it are wonderful, overall it's not very durable. Part of the hinges fell off and the clasp doesn't lock anymore, so with a little scotch tape it's fixed, but overall I wouldn't recommend this for durability's sake.

I am extremely happy with my iPod Case. I have looked at a lot of cases since I bought mine, and I cant find anything I like better! It was delivered to me quickly and I couldnt be happier with the product!

The item came on time and in great shape, my sister loves the color and the protection it gives her Ipod Touch. She is always dropping stuff so this was perfect for her. 4 stars because there is always room for improvement;)
