4.0 out of 5 stars More classic Brazilian "MPB" jazz/pop from the early 1980s, January 6, 2006
This review is from: E a Gente Nem Deu Nome//Chora Brasileira (Audio CD)
This disc combines two albums by singer Nana Caymmi, daughter of famed samba composer Dorival Caymmi. They are: "E A Gente Nem Deu Nome," from 1981, and "Chora Brasileira," from 1985. If you're into the sleek torchsinging of Maria Bethania or Gal Costa, you'll probably want to check this out, too! (Note: the track listing on this disc seems to be incomplete, only including the songs from the first album. There should be twice as many tracks listed. Ooops.) [©2006 joesixpack at slipcue dot com]
