5.0 out of 5 stars What did you expect?
Two former members of Biwig team up to make melodic, progressive punk rock. This band rocks plain and simple. They are all extremely talented musicians. Buy this CD and definitely see them live. They will have a new CD coming out in summer '05 on Takeover Records, so watch for it.

1.0 out of 5 stars The worst CD I have ever purchased.
I guess maybe I was misled a bit when I heard members of Bigwig were in this band. I heard the song "Answers" and was expecting something along the lines of what Bigwig put out, maybe a little poppier. But what I got was something truly awful. The version of "Answers" I had heard was far more raw and just plain better than the poppy, awful version...

This cd is the BEST [money] I have ever spent in my life. If you are walking through a music store and you see this cd, it is your personal duty to buy it. They sound great, and for those of you who haven't heard too much about them, you will very, very soon. The guitar riffs are awesome, Jeremy's voice was practically made for this, and the drumming is phenomanel. All in all, I rate this disc a perfect 5 stars, made my day just listening to it.

This cd is great, one good song after another on it. It sorta sounds like MxPx. If you like them this is a band to check in to!

This is a very good cd that near miss has put out. They are a great band and everyone should buy this cd. It is very much like bigwig, having a mix of harder and softer more poppier songs. Its is a very good and i reccomend it.

i think the record is rad, its catchy as hell but not too poopy in my opinion. The Guitar playing thick and tight, The Drumming is amazing and the production and recording is awesome. I highly recommend purchasing this record if you love to rock.

hey, well i have listened to this Cd over and over again. although i am not a big punk fan at all i find this cd amazing. they sound like messed, sum 41 and blink 182. anyone who likes punk at all should definitely look into buying this cd. and another thing, the drummer is awesome!! especially since he has only been playing for 3 years!! rock on! anyways i think this cd is well worth ur money.

I guess maybe I was misled a bit when I heard members of Bigwig were in this band. I heard the song "Answers" and was expecting something along the lines of what Bigwig put out, maybe a little poppier. But what I got was something truly awful. The version of "Answers" I had heard was far more raw and just plain better than the poppy, awful version on the CD. There is very little correlation between the immensely talented musicians in Bigwig and these hacks. I warn you now, do not buy this! This is just another cookie-cutter pop record along the lines of New Found Glory, Rufio and other derivative "artists." There are three songs worth listening to on this waste of metal, plastic and cellophane (but only barely). "This Bridge" is good and rockin for about two minutes, then turns bland. "Answers" is decent, but way too poppy in its melodies, and "The Gentle Art" has its moments. Do not buy this CD. It seems the only reason it was made was to cash in on the current pop trend. Send the "artists" the message that they should rather be making good music by not purchasing this. Go for some Bigwig or Good Riddance instead.
