These shoes are very comfortable and cute. The mauve color is very subtle. I love it so much that I'm purchasing the black as well. Great price at Amazon compared to $195 at other e-tailers.

Wow, the soles of these shoes are incredibly soft. So what I didnt know when I ordered them was that they are made with flaxseed memory pillows and then a layer of deerskin, which is super soft. I bought these shoes for the style, they are cute & are sort of that urban ballerina look, but the really great thing about them is how comfortable they are. True to size, as well.

I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/12 and got the 7, which fit. The foot bed is comfortable, but I found they slid around a lot if I wore these barefoot. I ended up putting some double-sided tape down to help them stay put, which worked.

The main problem I had with these is the straps on top. For me, they were too tight after about an hour of wearing them. They'd sting and I'd take them off to find red lines all over the top of my foot. I do have high arches, so I'm not sure if maybe my foot is just higher in general? I did try to stretch them out by stuffing them with another shoe and hoping they would loose their tension. I ended up breaking on of the straps off the shoe doing this though! I just wish the straps were a little looser (or more flat?) so they wouldn't make indentations on the top of my foot.

Overall, I really love the look of the shoe and it goes with pretty much anything. I can wear them to work with jeans or a skirt and leggings or tights, ride my bike with them on, or wear them with a casual dress to go out walking in the city. I'm very picky about shoes and their fit, but for the most part these are good shoes!
