This was recorded live at the Oberfrankehalle, in Bayreuth, Germany. This was also aired on PBS which is what got me hooked on James Last. We have always had records of James Last which I was just a little girl and even growing up they just never appealed to me. WOW!! What a difference 20+ years can make!!! I never even knew that Hansi and of course, his Orchestra had so much energy!!! PBS offered this same CD but you had to make a [X] donation!! This was last year in December and I have been searching all over for the same CD. I was even in Germany visiting my grandmother and they didn't have it. Thanks to Amazon.com for having it. Trust me you will LOVE these 2 CDs. Many of the songs are so familiar as they are on other CDs but with a live concert it makes this so much more enjoyable. You can feel like you are actually there. Try driving down the interstate with "The Orangeblossom Special" playing. That was actually fun!! Just watch out for the Highway Patrol because it you may get caught. I was just lucky and didn't get caught speeding at 85mph in South Carolina!! To all the fans of James Last, GET THIS CD and you will not regret it.

This music is lively and happy and makes anyone want to get up and dance or at least clap your hand and tap your toes. The band members enter into the rhythm and swing and are wonderful
entertainers. Great music to lift your spirits.

This CD has (2) Disc thankfully. The 2nd disc is not worthly of Last putting his name on it. Disc 1 is great.

Same music as the DVD and the performance which was shown on a lot of public television stations. I had been looking for this cd for a while and was very pleased to find it. Great music to have on my Ipod!

If you like music with a bounce, if you like sweet music, if you like extreme talent, you will really enjoy James Last. Period.

i love orquestra music. nothing sounds quite like it. one of the main reason I love James Last music is because he plays something for everyone. I would love to go to a concert of him. if he's ever in the U.S. i will certainly go. i also have the DVD.
