This is a reaL exciting book about a girl named Eliza whose father goes to prospect land in colorado leaving her and her mother with their aunt and uncle.After her mother dies Eliza is treated like a servent, tierd of it see sets out in the night headed for colorado with her loyal dog.She dress's like a boy and saws off her braids so she wont attract any attention.After their the first night out dressed as a boy she meets a charming young man named Calvin or as he calls himself the Gentleman Outlaw.Togather they have many adventures and swindle their way to colorado each searching for someone in the same town.Will Eli beable to keep her secret of being a girl away from Calvin?Will they survive the tough western towns without being shot or hunted down by a gang that almost killed calvin once already?Will Eliza be able to save Calvin from being hanged even if it means defying the person she came for , her father,the sherrif?
