I had already heard half the songs on this. I was not dissapointed when I heard the other half. It's hard to distinguish between a good album and a great album, because you have to consider other artists and records of the same time period, but I think this album is better than what it gets credit for. I think "All I Need" is the best song. There really isn't a bad song on this album. Like "So Soon We Change" LP this is defintely worth the price.

This item was new to me in that i didn't that it was around and available so I was very excited to find it. David is excellent here as always with his singing. I was not familliar with any of the songs but there were several good ones on the disc. And as I said David is in excellent form as always. If you like David Ruffin at all you will like the disc, If you love him this is most definitely a must have for your collection. I highly recommend it.

THIS CD IS TERRIFIC. I LOVE EVERY SONG ON HERE, BUT MY FAVORITES ARE I WANNA BE WITH YOU, STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU AND SLOW DANCE. I LOVE THE COVER PHOTOGRAPHY, TOO. DAVID REALLY PUT THE MACK DOWN ON THIS ONE, WITH THAT BEAUTIFUL SISTER BEHIND HIM. THIS ALBUM ALSO COULD HAVE BEEN CALLED D.R.(DAPPER RAPPER!!). NOW THE ONLY THING I HAVE LEFT TO GET IS DAVID'S MOTOWN SOLO ALBUMS VOLUME 1 AND MY COLLECTION WILL BE ALMOST COMPLETE. IT'S A SHAME THAT THIS ALBUM DIDN'T DO TO WELL ON THE CHARTS, EVERY SONG IS FANTASTIC. 'NUFF SAID.

This CD is the absolute bomb! I wasn't familiar with any of the songs, however, I've always had a "thing" for DR from his Temptation days. I listen to this CD daily.....my ride into work, while Im at work as well as at home. Never tire of it. My fav tracks are I Wanna Be With You; Still In Love w/You; I Got a Thing For You and Can We Make Love One More Time. Guess that's pretty much the entire CD.

He was definitely my favorite Temptation even with his personal issues. There was no escaping his enormous talent and his solo stuff was just great!!!!!
