As an Author, Coach, and Motivational Speaker I read alot of books about people, their motivations, and their relationships. I'm glad I read "Gentlemen, Start Her Engine - And Keep It Running" and added it to my bookshelf!

I first heard of Steven Guerrero from his insightful postings on some of the message boards that I frequent. Steven understands the damage done in this country by divorce and he's taken on the challenge to do something about it. When I heard that he was coming out with a book I eagerly waited for my copy to be delivered.

Start Her Engine is an excellent guide for men using concepts, ideas, and language that is easy to understand and implement. The three engine model allows readers to quickly develop a plan to fuel up and tune up their relationship for high performance. The checklists provided in the workbook section help you create a personalized, step by step plan for a lifetime of love and romance.

OK, guys, it doesn't get better than this! At last, here's a book that actually spells it out for you and makes it so much easier to get along with your mate. As a woman, I can tell you, you will save yourself a lot of grief by taking Steven Guerrero's advice. The best thing is, he's not about telling you that you're doing a bad job. He's passionate about helping you learn about what makes a relationship work. BTW, this is really TWO books in one! He includes an instructional section as well as a workbook. Beautiful!

Women, this is also a great read for you because it helps you understand where men are coming from. Wouldn't you like to know what's going on in their heads? You'll smile and nod as you zip through each chapter, thinking, "Why isn't this required reading for guys in high school?" It should be!

Everyone will walk away with a better understanding of the opposite sex and will thank the author for his unpretentious, humorous, and easy-to-read style. Thanks, Steven!

Thanks to Gentlemen, Start Her Engine--And Keep It Running not only did my husband discover I'm a "Diesel Engine Woman" (yikes!) but he learned all about MY mechanics as a woman and the fuel that gets and keeps my motor running. As a result, I've become more driven to take him where he wants to be by providing for his needs and desires-- and not just sexually either.

Steven Guerrero's targeted material really is about being a leader in love through taking initiative, being considerate and paying attention to detail. In chapter 1, The Relationship Information Race: How You Could Be Choosing to Win or Lose, Mr. Guerrero powerfully points out that paying attention to detail is something we already do diligently in many areas of our life. Sadly those other areas are far less important than our loved one. And yes, the book does encourage men to get behind the wheel of their own relationship.

This is not a book for "boys" or "the poor workman who curses his tools." It's a book that will make loving leaders out of men. Feminist extremists fear not. Mr. Guerrero teaches men how to lead with respect and in such a way that there are no followers, just the willing and happy to travel side by side. My husband learned how to better love and except me for who I am and what I do daily. If you're one who gets easily offended by metaphors, do yourself a favor. Get over it! This book is too darn good to let pride and ego get in the way of progress. Let yourself have a little fun.

The author's strategy and workbook materials made it simple and fun for my husband and I to communicate. In addition to the book enlightening us to the truth about why so many marriages continue to fail, it equipped us with concrete strategies and tools to succeed in our own relationship. The lists in the book have made it easier for my husband to interact with and romance me. Along with other chapters in the book, chapter 6, Racing to Win: Don't Crash and Burn, taught me the importance of encouraging my husband so he doesn't burnout. If you want a book that combines the perfect amount of logical psychology, common sense, romantic expertise, reality and a slew of other relationship strengthening techniques, this is the book for you.

I admit women can be more complex when it comes to love. There isn't a logical reason why we shouldn't make it easier for men to love us. Mr. Guerrero's book simplifies the acts of love that will intensify rewarding feelings of love for everyone. I'm glad I let this book simplify loving me and intensify the love in my marriage. I'm very excited to see what Mr. Steven Guerrero publishes next. Until then, thank you very much Mr. Guerrero for a book I believe will become the 57 Chevy of relationship classics.

Steve has written a book that helps to remind us that sometimes the little things that matter more than the Suprise gifts. His book gave me great ideas and ways of listening that I had ignored. This book will help you start her heart. I highly recommend it. Fantastic!!

My wife and I read Steve Guerrero's book Gentlemen Start Her Engine and my being a male in my late 40's found it refreshing. My wife considers me "perfect" but after being married three times and now having 3 step children I've learned alot on my own and found Steve's book right on target. There were somethings that refreshed my memory such as walking in the house when my wife is cooking and letting her know how good the cooking smells (and it always does). I'm not a man of many words but for those of you that are like me "perfect" go ahead and pick this book up. You'll get reminded of some things you may have forgotten or just needed a refresher. For those guys that are having even the smallest of problems with your relationship this is the book to study.

I just finished reading this book. I loved it! It is very well written, and the advice is priceless. I am glad that there is and author out there who really understands women and what we need from our husband/significant other. Mr. Guerrero wrote this in a fun and unique way, that any man will understand. I laughed and almost cried reading this. I think that this book is a must read for any man, young or old currently in a relationship, or just starting one. The woman in their life will benefit from this book in so many ways.
