This review is from: Gently with the Painters (Inspector George Gently 7) (Kindle Edition)
I have read the other Gently books and found them worthwhile; when I saw that this had no reviews, I wanted to write one so that no one missed this Gently case. The plot is interesting and credible, and the characters believable. What makes this Gently case so enjoyable is the writing. It's beautifully and unaffectedly crafted - if your fairy god-mother ever asks you whose writing you'd like to emulate, you would not go wrong to reply with Alan Hunter's name. Enjoy!
