It'll work mounted upside down. That's how I have mine in the eve of my house. You'll just invert the picture in the camera's web page. Although I honestly don't know how the glare (if any) would affect the camera.

Yes, but with a bunch of lag and no built in sound that's worth anything . . .

You can view in a browser on your own network by looking for the IP that was assigned to it. You can configure a port on the device and port forward your router to it. This will allow you to view from any browser from any network.
