Genuine Fractals has been a leader in digital photo resizing since their first product many years ago. Today, there are other choices, but GF remains one of the best.

Photoshop's capabilities have grown, but I still prefer the results I get with GF. I like Nik Software's solutions, however they seem sensitive to image content - works great on some, not so great on others. Genuine Fractals seems to work well with everything I throw at it.

Note, of course, that to get good results you need to take extreme care in every step of your process, from using sharp lenses and tripods to careful editing, paper selection and color calibration. Don't expect to get pro quality 24 inch prints out of your 5MP point-and-shoot. I routinely take images from my 12.3MP pro DSLR and print as large as 30x40 with reasonable image quality. Even though that works out to barely 100DPI, the resulting print quality is more than sufficient for most uses.

Highly recommended for anyone who needs to "up-rez" digital images.

The product is good and does what it says it will do with high quality. The problem is that i have three computers at home and it will only allow me to put it on two. I have two which I do detail work on my underwater photos and one which travels with me so I am not able to do what I had hoped.
