In general, printing ink is expensive. My HP Officejet 6500A printer cost just $40 more ... in all fairness, the HP6500 printers are shipped with 'starter ink packs' :((This 4-pack 920XL is genuine HP ink and it's fresh ... so I can stock up without worrying about expired ink! Compared to the retail stores, this 4-Color Pack is reasonably priced. Buy the 4-pack 920XL and take a bite off your printing bill. (920XL ink prints about 2.5 more pages than regular 920 ink). This home office staple is offered here bundled at a great price with prompt service. Go ahead ... ADD TO CART! Hope this review was helpful ... Jeffery A. (Jeff)

I live in Wasilla, Alaska and the local Walmart or larger chain stores only carry 920 cartridges and not the 920xl. Driving to Anchorage is not a option so I'm very happy with the free shipping.
I'm currently the president of a local community council so we do a lot of printing. I found that all the cartridges run out at about the same time. So this combo pack is the simplest buying option for us.

The HP ink product produces excellent results with my HP 6500A Officejet printer, which works well, though it does tend to use up ink rapidly. I ordered carts from Amazon and they arrived quickly and will be sitting in readiness when the printer needs more.
