Like a headline says this is a perfect OEM replacement. Removing the old fuel cap and replacing it with this one is kind of a pain but that does not reflect on this product itself.

This is in factory fresh condition, a true Honda part and at a price far better than any stealership would sell it.

I purchased this cap for my 07 civic, the original one had a crack and it caused my check engine light to come on due to an evap leak i repleaced it with a cheap aftermarket cap and light went off just for a few days and then came on again, after i put this one on, the check engine light went off and it also improved my mileage a bit, this definitely an OEM fit, and i would recommend it with no doubts, so far i've had this cap for over 4 months with no issues whatsoever! thanks

just note, that in order to install this one, you can either, follow the correct procedure, which is, remove the adapter in the cover, using pliers or something to make it go out, then connecting it inside the adapter, then reinstalling the adapter. its hard. Or, you can just connect it to the cover, it have a few holes that match exactly this, and you just push it in in one of those holes, and will work just fine.

This item was a perfect fit and a genuine Honda part. It replaced the old gas cap on my 2008 civic Si that went bad.

The cap is a perfect fit, but the little attachment is not the exact fit for the 2006 Civic EX. I'm more concerned with the cap fitting than the way it attaches as the old cap had a bad gasket.

This was not a complete fuel filler cap assembly. The anchor that secures into the fuel door that holds the assembly in place is NOT included. This anchor has to be removed so the lead line can be fitted inside to be secured to the fuel door. On my 2007 Honda CRV, the original anchor had deteriorated over time so it was soft and easily broke when removing and you HAVE to remove it so the new fuel filler cap line will fit inside. So, I had a new fuel cap with a flapping lead. After going to two auto part stores, a crafty employee tried several screw anchors until he found one that fit in my fuel door and had the same split in it to secure the lead. I should not have had to scrounge around to repair this and the little anchor that could not have cost more than dollar should have been included. Other than this, the fuel cap itself works fine. No leaks or sensors tripped.
