I just received this and am disappointed. I bought this journal for my 3 week vacation in Argentina. I leave in 4 days and paid for shipping to make sure this arrived before my trip. It states in the description that it has 96 pages, but I just counted and it has 39. Even if you double that number it's only 78 so clearly this is not accurate. Now I have to pay to send it back or eat the cost for this expensive journal and try to find a new one right when I arrive. I'm very unhappy. The description should state how many pages it truly has.If the # of pages doesn't matter to you, the journal itself is beautiful leather and wonderfully crafted. I really wish it had come how I ordered it...

I'm very picky when it comes to journals, and this is definitely exactly what I wanted. I love the pages in the book. They are really thick and the tattered edges make it look vintage. Like I'm in Lord of the Rings. The leather of the book is thick and good quality. Overall a very good journal

This journal has a rustic look to it. It has a wrap-around strap to tie it closed which I think is kind of fun and old world style. The leather is good quality and very soft.The pages have rough-cut edges that add to the style. I was a little concerned that the pages, being hand sewn into the leather, would tear out easily. However, the opposite is true. The pages are really secure, and the thread is strong and durable. Those pages aren't going anywhere.
