I bought this bag for a friend to replace his worn out vinyl one. The leather is very soft and looks great. The dimentions are exactly as described, with two compartments each measuring 2 1/2 inches wide. It's not a large bag, but will hold quite a few items--perfect for mens toiletries. There are also two zippered side compartments that are good for thin items like combs, bandaids, even a checkbook. For $20 this is an excellent value and I would definitely recommend it.

I searched for and bought this shave kit because it has two large compartments. I like to keep toiletries in one compartment and to keep medications separate in another compartment. This bag allows me to do that and it has more room than I need in each compartment. It also has two smaller side pockets where you can put small items (maybe a contact lens case, safety pins, etc.).

This is a very nice, well-made, bag. The leather is soft and giving from the getgo ~~ no need to break it in.
There are 4 zipper compartments, not just 2 like the ad implies: 2 compartments on top, and one on each side. With all the compartments, my husband can separate items instead of having all his things in one compartment like with his old toiletry bag.
A slight downside of the bag is, it's small. It's definitely not teeny-tiny small, but if you carry a LOT of toiletries, this might not be the bag for you.

Bought this several months ago for my husband, and he likes it better than any other type he has ever owned. Still looks new, even though he uses it all the time. Soft and luxurious, but sturdy!

I gave this to my dad for christmas. It looked great! I found out through my mom the bag leaked black ink when it was wet, my dad didn't have the heart to tell me. I'm trying again this year. Don't buy this!

This is a very nice leather shaving kit I purchased for my dad. It is made of soft leather, and smells wonderful (leather smell). He was very pleased. It was nicer than I expected it to be.

Perfect size and features for my travel needs. I travel almost every week on business but rarely for longer than 3-4 nights at a time. The bag is soft (fits easily into various size/shape formed and soft luggage) and has multiple compartments that make items easy to find (if I remember where I put them in the first place!) Large enough for everything I need for at least a week; soft side means it will pack down small for short trips. Right price, good transaction w/seller thru Amazon. Not sure how long it will last; seems sturdy, but who knows? If it even lasts a year I'll feel I got my money's worth and buy another (if it's still available...). I suspect it will last much longer.
