This case is a great idea for on the go. There are some problems with the fit. The bands that hold the screen in place have already stretched out of shape. After opening the top cover always has to be pushed into place. The opening for the track pad is a little too small. After only two weeks, this case is already showing wear and tear. If you are looking for a travel case you should look elsewhere.

I've had this cover for approx. one month, and it has worked perfectly. It slips on in seconds, allows access to all ports and provides excellent ventilation. Just one thing, when opening the computer you have to lift from the lid, not the cover; otherwise, the elastic straps will eventually become stretched and lose their retention. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

This case is well made with high quality leather. It fits my Aspire One netbook like a glove and provides good protection. This case can be put on and taken off in a second, which is a really nice feature. I would have to disagree with the previous review. I think the opening for the track pad is just right and it fits well. I have this case for a few weeks now. Everything held up really well. It still looks and works like new.

I carry this case around Starbucks and school. Quite a few people come up to me and ask where to get it. I am really happy with this case. A small leather wallet can easily cost anything from $25-$50. It's a steal at this price. I strongly recommend anyone who has an Acer Aspire One to buy one of this case.

I like this cover. It fits great on my Gateway that is made by Acer. The only thing that bothers me is the big silver Licaso logo. If it was just embossed and left black, maybe, but the silver stands out way too much. I could see it in the pictures, but I didn't know that it wasn't a tag you could remove.

For the price this product cannot be beat. The simple construction and elegant appearance protects the Acer Aspire from scratches and looks very professional. My peers assumed that I was carrying a daily planner or organizer. That's a nice feature when you live in a big city and don't want to draw attention that you are actually carrying around a laptop (netbook) computer. The only downside (but manageable) are the little rubberbands that hold the screen. They are made of the type material that will stretch over time. The solution is not to pull them out to get the screen underneath. Just lift up slightly as the edge and let the screen gently slide underneath on its own as the close the case. Then everything stays put. My actual rating would be a 4.5 if they allowed.

It's a fair price, and arrived on time. It's pretty good protection, too, and makes me a lot more comfortable tossing my Acer in my backpack. I even dropped the whole she-bang onto the floor in class from a height of about 2' with no damage. Of course, I don't know that it would definitely have been damaged without the case either, but it sure didn't hurt. It makes the Acer run a bit hot, but only when the battery is charging, and not to where I really worry about it.
But the reason for the 'Almost' and the loss of a star is, yes, that touchpad window really is too dang small. I can only assume, since some raters have not found this to be true, that what this manufacturer has is a quality control problem, more than a design problem. The top edge of the touchpad cut-out is almost .5" over the edge of the pad. That may not seem like a lot, but it's a very, very small touchpad to begin with, and I want that half inch. I'm going to follow the suggestion someone else posted and try to trim it back with a razor.
