My sister's birthstone is Peridot, she loves Peridot jewelry but nice genuine peridots are always hard to find. I keep my eyes open before each birthday but no matter how many stores I visit, I never find any Peridot Jewelry, and when I do, the stones are washed out, very included or just super expensive. My husband suggested I use his Amazon account and purchase a peridot pendant online. I was very surprised by the great selection available, but this one pendant really jumped out at me! I read the reviews...one good and one bad. So I checked the vendors rating and was convinced by all the great feedback they had. With mother's day almost here, I placed my order and kept my fingers crossed.
My pendant arrived so fast and what a surprise! I don't know about the experience of one of the other reviewers, but the packaging on my pendant looked just like the picture. Elegant and really impressive. The velvet bag and blue "treasure chest" jewelry box looked expensive and no need for wrapping! The pendant was just perfect. Shiny, clean, elegant, well made. But what was really amazing was the peridot itself. I have to be honest and admit that I checked the paperwork and description again and again to make sure that the gem a real, genuine Peridot, as I never seen one so nice! Great, intense color, very brilliant and no inclusions.... None! A jeweler once told me that Peridots are rare gemstones and inclusions are to be expected....not on this pendant! What I got was a great looking pendant on a chain inside great packaging and lifetime warranty and certificate of authenticity cards to go with it. Overall I got a lot for my money. Altogether great presentation for a gift. Today I am ordering the same pendant in Sapphire and Ruby for both my Mother and my husband's mother. Mothers day is big in our family and this year I am going to really look great when we all get together to celebrate!


July 27 Update. AMAZING!!!! AGAIN!!!!!
It's been 3 months and I can tell by now that the quality on the pendant is just great. My sister still wears it every day, the white gold plating is holding up very well and the pendant still looks like new, very shiny, and she gets tons of compliments on it. The same goes for the Ruby and Sapphire sets I got for Mothers day. The presentation of the gifts was again really Elegant and Impressive. It was nice to see the excitement when they received the gifts in the blue pouches. The excitement kept on building as they "unwrapped" all the layers to get to finally open the "treasure chests" to find their beautiful pendants inside!" I am telling you, this was the perfect gift all around!

I couldn't wait to receive this necklace. It looked so beautiful in the picture and was my top choice with all the necklaces I looked at. Well pictures sure can be deceiving! Maybe it was just my item, but it showed up in a dusty old looking box which I can overlook so long as it doesn't represent the item!! It did! The pendant had what looked like little scratches on it, what I can only describe as a "dust clump" stuck in one of the grips that holds the stone and little black dirt specs I tried to clean off, realizing it was stuck inside the gem! The "14k" gold, while maybe it's real and I'm certainly no expert, looked like it was painted silver and came out of a grab machine. No sparkle whatsoever! I avoided jewelery stores so I wouldn't be harassed by salesman, but now I've learned from my mistake to never purchase a piece of jewelery I can't see for myself first. This item was returned to it's arrival box 5 minutes later and I am never buying jewelery online again! My fault!

My Cousin, just had her first child - I purchased this necklace because it's her Sons Birthstone and while she's at work, separated from him, she could wear this necklace as a reminder of him. The diamond at the top, is bigger than expected. Beautiful piece of Jewelry, The color isn't as vibrant as the picture displays, but it's shiny and the perfect size (Smaller than a dime)
