This is one of the best train sets I can imagine. The pieces are durable, suitable for very young children (2 and up), a very low price, and the set has a lot to do.

The set comes complete with a good amount of track, a station house, a crossing, a log loader, a crane, crossing gate, railroad signs, billboard, and a tree with an owl in it.

The station has a crane loader that can handle the logs or the supplied crate. One of the train cars flips open. The log loader can have track (rail or road) on either side and can deliver the logs to either.

My 2-year-old had no trouble putting the track together (it stays together better than Brio) and absolutely loves playing with the set. My 5-year-old daughter is also fascinated by the set. I really can't imagine any other train set being comparable for under twenty bucks.

This set also connects with all of the other Geotrax sets (railway, construction, and emergency rescue).

My 2 year old son loves hs GeoTrax set. He spends so much time playing with his toys that he ignores everything else around him. He is very much into all the gadgets and tracks that he can set up himself. HE LOVES IT!! It was money well spent!

I purchased this set for my 5 year old twins birthdays and they adore it. Thier 3 year old little sister loves it as well. When I purchased it I was nervous that the tracks wouldn't stay together very well but they are very durable and stay together great. We look forward to adding on more of the play sets, this one is sure to endure hours of fun for my 3 little ones.

This toy is great. The tracks are easy to put together but don't easily pop apart. My son plays with this toy daily, it is his favorite. He likes to drive the train and load it. Very fun for him and age appropriate, great for fine motor skills. We also bought one of the remote control trains that go with this line. The remote is so easy for a little 2 year old's hands. It only has 2 modes "go" and "stop", plus it has the feature where it shuts off when not in use for a certain amount of time. Great toy. We plan on buying more sets to add on for Christmas.

We bought this train set for our 2-1/2 year old son and he LOVES it!! He has others, but this one is hands down the best. The track is very durable and the trains are easy to run. Our son gets a lot of enjoyment out of being able to put the track together and operating the trains himself. I absolutely recommend this product!

I bought this for my son who is almost 4. He loves it and my Daughter 8 loves to help him with it and also my 12 yr old son. They all love it and play with it all the time. It has endless ways to design the track and it fits together so simply that my youngest can do it by himself. We all Love it!
