Format: Hardcover
Geoffrey Beene is one of a handful of talented designers who had such an effect on fashion that it has survived his design house and life. Much like Chanel reforming the whole concept of fashion, Beene did the same in a much subtler sense. In a day of throw-away trends and clothes, Beene's fashions are timeless, yet forward.

Good designers will confess that a good style starts with the cut, and Beene was master of the line and style of the cut of his clothes. Thumbing through this concise collection of his designs, is a fabulous way to understand Beene's real genius.

Covers all periods of his life, in an abbreviated manner, but still enough so that you can see his transformation from young intern to influential designs of his later collections.

Hmmmmm not great , very Poor selection of his work. It doesn't show all the beautiful collections he created over the years . It's not worth buying at all unfortunately . When you looking for great dresses and editorials there is nothing In The book you can see.
