First of all, at the time of my purchase (July 2011), I received the full and correct copy of this book, not the Rasmussen College book that previous reviewers have stated.

This book is a great resource for my Geography class. In some of my college courses, the textbooks have been nuisances; the sort you only buy because your professor requires you to. In the case of this textbook, it really does add to the class. It is up to date with accurate information and research about conflicts and maps, and the illustrations and graphics add a lot to aid with reading comprehension. This textbook is worth buying!

I bought the Kindle version of this book yet there is no page numbers for the book. It's hard to follow along in class when I spend the whole time finding my place in the book. I have come to read ahead and mark key places in the book. Would get 5 stars if page numbers are added

Unless you are taking this course through Rasmussen College, don't buy this book. Nothing in the description warns the buyer that this is NOT the actual textbook, but a special version of it. It only has 5 chapters, the REAL textbook as 12. What am I supposed to do about the second half of my class? Now that class is started, I'll be hard pressed to find a replacement book before I flunk out! I'm returning this today.

NO WHERE in the description does it state that this book is a Rasmussen College Edition. I certainly hope it is suitable for my World Regional Geography class. I thought I would save a bit of money by purchasing the paperback, but little did I know it is a weird edition. Beware!! I don't know if it's the same as the original or if my professor will even allow me to use this one. I will update this post when I find out.

i got the boook fast and in great shape, I am very satisfied with the service I recieved and will most definately be using it again in the future!

I bought it second hand ranked as LIKE NEW, and it did show like it. I am glad to have saved so much and still have gotten this book in great conditions.

Got a great deal on this book, was actually $50 less than the campus bookstore. Will definately use amazon for school textbooks more often. Will get great use until i sell it back to amazon.

I was very disappointed when I received this book. Nowhere was it stated in the description that it is a shortened, custom edition for Rasmussen College. I was very excited at first because it was such a great price for the book I was looking for as I am a college student on a tight budget. Unfortunately, it was not the book I needed and it is missing more than half of the material I need for class. I will be returning this and getting a refund. Now I am set back time and money because it will take 2-3 weeks to get a refund and I have to wait for the refund to get another book. VERY disappointed.

I ordered this with the impression that it was simply the paperback version of the original book. Now that I have begun class, I am realizing that it is in fact an abbreviated custom edition for Rasmussen College, and I am missing a large number of chapters that are required to read for my class... I'm in trouble.. now I will have to attempt to return this and pay to reship, and reorder the correct version.

The book came in great condition just as described, and came in a timely manner as well. Couldn't have asked for a more simple process.
