Our daughter has been playing with this product for a few months and loves it. Pulling pieces apart and then putting them together (sometimes in ways that defy gravity) will hold her attention better than any other toy we have. She also likes the animal shapes. The product is durable and encourages creativity. Made in Switzerland is hard to beat. Only issue is I think the company overstates the "rattle" quality, because they don't really make much noise.

This was bought to keep at my house. When the family gathers at Nana's house (at least twice a month), EVERYONE has played with it. From the one-year-olds through the 2, 4, and 5-year-olds as well as the teenage cousins and adult aunts and uncles, all are fascinated with the properties of magnets and creating new kinds of creatures (usually dubbed 'robots'). If the little ones are staying over, these double as bath toys. I know that this toy is safe since the pieces are large, smooth-edged, and the magnets are safely encased inside the sturdy pieces. I am buying another set because with so many wanting to play with them, I need more pieces!!

This item is great not only for babies but for toddlers and kids as well so much can be done with them. Loads of fun.

We found these at a consignment sale and they were such a hit that we bought them here for our nephew. These are very durable blocks. We love that we can take them in the bath, the pool, and clean them up in the dishwasher! Babies and toddlers love feeling the magnetic pull and hearing the clicking sounds. Such a great toy. Definitely get the large set to start and maybe add a medium set to have more building options.

Our 15 month old received a set of these blocks for his first birthday and it was the only toy he wanted to play with. He was so interested in how the blocks would connect - as if by magic! We took four of the blocks and put them in the tub (they are waterproof) and he loves to play with them in there, too. He doesn't really "build" with them yet but he enjoys seeing how they fit together. As an added bonus the blocks are very colorful and great for helping to learn colors.
