4.0 out of 5 stars A good workbook to understand geometric optics, November 25, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The Geometrical Optics Workbook (Paperback)
Easy to understand and lots of sample problems to follow along as you try to understand equations. At the end of the chapters, there are 20-30 problems with answers. Unfortunately, the questions at the end of the chapters do not have an explanation of how they came up with the answer, but it's not hard to figure out. This book is great aid for first year optometry students.

The workbook came in good time. Also, just like what was stated on the description it was used. HOwever, overall in good condition. Only thing used about it was that the previous owner had highlighted in it. NO big deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for practice and review, July 28, 2011

This review is from: The Geometrical Optics Workbook (Paperback)
I utilized this workbook almost solely for the practice problems and concept review before optics exams. I appreciated the practice problems and the answer key because the best way to understand this information and memorize the equation is to work the problems. Be careful to check for errors, as there are some equations written incorrectly. With that said, this is a good supplementary workbook but should not be the only source used.
