5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, April 25, 2004

I really love this book. It makes optics easy to understand and actually fun! Dr. Schwartz gets to the point without a lot of mumbo jumbo. I like this book as much his Visual Perception book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good enough for me, November 25, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Geometrical and Visual Optics : A Clinical Introduction (Hardcover)
As an optometry student, this book is ok if you just want to understand the concepts, but I feel it only touches it superficially.
To understand geometrical optics, I wanted lots of example problems shown with different scenarios. I didn't feel very prepared going into a testing environment with this book.
