5.0 out of 5 stars Best book regarding gear theory, November 14, 2009
This review is from: Gear Geometry and Applied Theory (Hardcover)
I work as a gear engineer for a big heavy truck company and have learned a whole lot from this book...and still learning. I find it by far the most valuable book for engineers who want to understand the fundamentals of gearing and write their own computer codes to generate gear geometries for visualization or FEM-analysis.

Great book Litvin and Fuentes!

Regards,
IB

5.0 out of 5 stars Good book, June 2, 2009
This review is from: Gear Geometry and Applied Theory (Hardcover)
This is a book that explain gears using their geometric information. Central point is mathematical equation of gears and using this approach any point at gear calculation is explained. It is not good for obtain a magic number or fast result but very goo to understood gear behaviour and calculation.
