The Cartan, Berwald, and Rund connections are all investigated. Included also is the study of totally geodesic and other special submanifolds such as curves, surfaces, and hypersurfaces. This book is considered the first one in the field which is a very powerful and nicely organized book. Both Professor Aurel Bejancu and Professor Hani farran (Authors of the book) are of the best researchers and teachers in Kuwait University. I wish them all the best.
