A simply wonderful score of great music. George M. Cohan blessed this country with great music and Joey Grey is simply fantastic in singing the songs. I have given a number of copies of this CD to youngsters who enjoy music and they love it. Turn up the volume and have a blast. You can thank me later.

I was actually part of the cast of a production of this show....certainly not the original Broadway company, but was in it nonetheless! This is a wondeful show and has a lot of great early 20th century songs. I bought this cd to listen to the songs my character (Agnes) sings. Agnes' solo (Billie) and her duet (Yankee Doodle Finale) were both really fun to sing and to listen to. I really loved watching and being a part of this show. This is an excellent cd-- if you have ever seen the play, or if you just like fun American music, buy it!

You ever here any of the songs written by George Michael Cohan? Have you ever sung them yourself? You probably have and never known it; "You're a Grand Old Flag", "Over There", "Yankee Doddle Dandy", all song written by George M. Cohan, and are here for your listening enjoyment in the soundtrack of "George M!"

This product is NOT a CD. The three reviews of the product on the Amazon website review the CD not the songbook and leads the reader to believe that he/she is purchasing a CD of the show. The songs listed, album cover and the reviews all indicate that the product is a CD. It should be clearly stated that this is a songbook and not a CD of the Original Broadway cast.
