The pairing of these two jazz greats was a great idea; what took them so long?!?

In addition to the musical quality of each track, the 5.1 separation, clarity and audio quality is definitely THE BEST I'VE HEARD. From the crisp high frequencies to the broad foundations of the bass, the sound immerses you into an audio experience that can't be described in a simple review - you have to hear it for yourself.

Monster has a great thing going - but their catalog is rather limited right now. I own all of these surround sound releases and hope to see many more published in the near future.

I would rate 5 for the DVD audio. Superb recording quality. I would rate 3 for the cd audio, the quality of recording is average.

After listening to this CD in surround sound, the only thing my brother-in-law could do was say, "Wow!"

I purchased this from Monster for $19.98. I wanted to caution that you shouldn't buy from the vendors here who are selling this for 3 to 4 times the retail price. The sound quality is sensational and you get two discs, one plays surround sound or stereo on any DVD player and the other is a Cd with stereo that will play on cd players. I'll add more when I listen a few more times but so far I'm impressed. Hopefully Monster will continue to release more of these audiophile music discs.
