1.0 out of 5 stars slow, April 15, 2003

This review is from: George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Electronic Food Thermometer (Kitchen)
They say this reads in just 6 seconds. It didn't. It took more like 25 to 30 seconds from the time you immerse it in ice water till the display reads 32 F. It seemed even slower in meats. The display is tiny and hard to read. But, it was cheap. I'm told you have to spend $70 to $80 to get a professional "thermocouple" thermometer that can truly read a complete temperature in 6 seconds. So I guess you get what you pay for. I'm only disappointed that they claim this thing reads in 6 seconds.
