5.0 out of 5 stars Great little oven!
I love this thing. It does a great Rotisserie chicken. The other basic toaster oven functions work fine also. It comes with a neat little handle used for taking hot trays out of the oven and a tool for removing the rotisserie chicken when it is done.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality - George, you let me down..., January 26, 2011
This review is from: George Foreman TO2021B 6-Slice Countertop Oven and Rotisserie with Infrared Broil Technology (Kitchen)
Note: My review on the George Foreman site was rejected for this item, so I am putting here for everyone to see.
On first look the oven, all chrome and computerized seemed very modern and useful. I purchased this to replace my old reliable but aging toaster oven about three months ago.

First Impressions - In retrospect, I should have repackaged the oven when I first opened it and brought it back to the store. The pushbuttons that turn the oven on and start the oven (yes two separate buttons) often get stuck in the channel and you need to pull it out with your fingernail. The oven pan is very flimsy given the cost of the oven and the overall build of the oven.

Once I got used to pushing the buttons without getting them stuck, we started to use the oven and overall were satisfied with the performance until I tried using the rotisserie unit. The screws would not attach to the rotisserie because the thread on the rotisserie got stripped. When I called George, I was told they did not have the parts and that I would be put on a list to get them when they are available. Well three months later, George has not sent me anything yet.

After about three months, the heating elements in the oven no longer function. So now the oven is completely useless. I called George again and was told that as long as its still under warranty, he would send me a new replacement provided I send him the cut electrical cord.

I am now debating whether to give back the unit to the store or give it another try. If I send out the cord, I would have to wait until George gets around to send me a new one. I definitely do not recommend this unit and am disappointed George did not allow me to post my comments on his website.

Update February 26, 2011

OK - to be fair, after I placed this review I received an email from the company hired to do customer support and was shipped a brand new unit. This new unit has been working fine so far (though I have not yet had a chance to use the rotisserie). It appears to me that my first unit was defective as this one's push buttons do not get jammed in the channel. I will let it function for a while before I update the rating but it is looking good so far.

It's a little funny to get used to using but once you know how it's easy. For some reason there is a power button and a start button, doesn't really make any sense to me other than the display is blank when the power is off, if you cook something with the timer and it's done the display stays on to remind you that you have something in the oven.

This oven has the same footprint as the Black & Decker Toaster Oven it replaced, though maybe an inch taller.

I got mine at Boscov's for $50.00 and unbeatable deal. They sell over the net is still unavailable at Amazon.
