This 2 CD set is a "mixed bag" of some well known hits and
a lot of rare and obscure recordings, many of which I had
never heard before receiving this CD set. I think it's a
set well worth having for anyone who collects the rare or
hard-to-find recordings of the 50's & 60's. Much of this
music will not be found elsewhere since it is on CD for
the first time. Some of the obscure stuff deserved to be
that way, since some of them aren't too good, though most
of them are indeed OK. It's the rarity of these recordings
on CD and / or the introduction of many of these recordings
to the public for the first time that make this set so
interesting and so well worth having.

The quality of the reproductions on this CD is excellent.

The website track listings do not provide the artists for
the song tracks. I do not recognize the names shown above
for most of the tracks, but I suspect that the names shown
are those of the song writers. They clearly are NOT those
of the recording artists doing these songs.
