This book is a compendium of interesting letters, articles, and essays concerning Inness, interspersed with a few reproductions. I don't recommend this book for the art but this is the best book for text. Of special interest is the essay by Inness' son about Inness' technique.For the best reproductions I recommend George Inness: A Catalogue Raisonne (expensive but worth it if you are a hard core Inness enthusiast). |
