this is a very handsome light but it truly was not bright enough to be advertised as a bathroom light. It was also hard to find the bulbs. The 60 watt option has been discontinued and the 40 watt was "mood lighting". I am returning the light.

We used this fixture in my old house as a single fixture in a small bathroom. It hung horizontally over the mirror and there was plenty of light. In our latest house we used 2ea of these Kovacs in each bathroom. The bathrooms are bigger and two fixtures are, again, plenty of light. In this case the fixtures are mounted vertically. This fixture works well both horizontally and vertically. I recommend it all the time and the architect we work with now uses is as a less-expensive, modern option.

I bought two of these for a bathroom I am updating. I put tubular CFL bulbs in the fixtures (one fixture on each side of the vanity mirror, two bulbs per fixture) and there is plenty of light. I would buy these again if I had a place to use them.
