We got this book for our daughter after visiting "The Magic House" in Saint Louis which had an exhibit based on this book. It teaches a great lesson about "Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling"; and building those principles into your everyday decisions and actions.

Somehow I found this book, which seemed pretty fun to teach the R's. Well, It definately made a change in the way kids looked at the whole "what can I do?" situation.
Now, we talk about George like if he was one of the classmates. We go and ask him whrn we don't know what to do and whenever we forget something related with taking care of the planet. It's a MUST book for lower school children! |
