George Washinton's Life,
A Kid's Review

In my opinion George Washington was one of the greatest men to live. He was born Febuary 22 1732. When he was young he married Martha Custies and moved to his beloved Mount Vernon. Right after he got there the British attacted, and Washinton lead his men in the Revolutuonary War. One night they camped at the freezing Valley Forge just miles away from the British army. George was also the first President of the U.S.A.
Wendie C. Old wrote this book. People whom like learning about our country, war strategies, and history should read this book. In the first chapter it gave an introduction about his life, but from then on it's in chronological order. This book had strong points in talking about his presidency and weak points in talking about his family. Altogether it is a very awsome book. |
