Love those guitars,

This review is from: George Wein's Newport All-Stars (Audio CD)
I bought this album mainly for the artistry of Tal Farlow and Barney Kessel. One or both play on each track.
Farlow's work in "These Foolish Things" is worth the price for me. In Topsy, Kessel and Farlow trade great licks back and forth. Also, Sunny is another one of my favorites in this album. Of course, Red Norvo on vibes and George Wein on keyboards are no slouches but if you like the sound of big fat jazz guitars in more than capable hands, listen to this album.
