Ok, Seurat, Seurat,

We know that tiny dots of yellow against blue, or yellow opposing violet change a mood or the feel of a painting. However, Seurat made a career of studing and experimenting with such challenges. Beneath the initial elegant calm of his work lurks a tale of passions, hopes, fears and secrets. This film shares with us the whole world of Georges Seurat, isolated yet comfortable around people; troubled, yet clear of mind and vision. As a painter this film filled me with hope and inspiration. I learned something, and that my friends is worth the price of admission.
