Incredibly useful for Georgia War of Northern Aggression Researchers,

This review is from: Georgia In The War 1861-1865 (Paperback)
If you are in need of information about the Confederate officers of Georgia units in service during the War of Northern Aggression, then this is the book for you. I am working on a novel with the WNA as the backdrop and needed unit-specific information to add verisimilitude to my setting. The reason I chose Charles Jones' book over more modern information is that I wanted a source CLOSE in time to the conflict - this resource accurately reflects what the people in Georgia after the conflict/around the turn of the 20th century believed to be true about the men who fought in the WNA among the leadership cadre. It has the flavor of local repute/legend/mystique rather than the drier, more recent, scholarly tomes that may be more accurate, but aren't as useful for my purposes.
