I bought several of these. I think they are great for day hiking. They are small and light to go in my child's backpack. They are laminated, so no worries of it getting wet. If we see something during our hike. We can circle it (dry erase marker) and look it up when we get home.

better than a big bulky book. has any bird you might spot in georgia on it.
