My husband is a UPS driver, and he goes through boots every few months. We purchased this make and model of Georgia Boot at Boot Barn in March of 2012. They lasted him much longer than most other boots he's tried. He got all the way through November of 2012! Normally, he needs new ones every three months.

Since they were such long-lasting, quality boots, we decided to order him another pair. Since we already knew that this size and model were great, I ordered them through Amazon. The price was better than Boot Barn, and it saved me a big drive as well.

The boots arrived and looked exactly the same as his old pair. However, when he went to try them on with the insoles he has to use, they fit totally wrong. He couldn't get his foot in with the insole in. He had to wear them and sort of squish down the original sewn-in insole for a couple weeks before he could stuff the insole insert in. We were trying to figure out what the deal was, and why they were different, and that's when we noticed that the country of manufacture was different between the two pairs!

So he isn't as happy with the new pair as he was with his old ones. And for some reason, the pair we ordered from Amazon make his feet stink to high heaven!! That is new and it has to be the boots, because his feet never stink. And they don't stink when he wears the old ones around home, only when he wears the new ones.

I find it very annoying that the boots are not consistent.

We have searched everywhere for a boot that doesn't have a heel on it. We will buy this in bulk if we could. They last forever!

I couldn't agree more with other reviewers that these are very comfortable coming straight out of the box. I am a landscaper by profession, so having a soft boot with little break in time was excellent with all the long work hours. Lightweight and breathable. I like the soles on this pair as well. Flat bottoms means no tracking in mud. Only a few minor faults: They are not waterproof, not a big deal, so I applied a layer of Mink Oil when I first The purchased too remedy this. The boots are not steel-toe, I find non steel-toe much more comfortable, but you lose the protection. Watch your toes! Lastly, on the inside of the boots, the heel area seems to protrude (stick out) slightly, causing some heel rubbing and soreness. Hope this goes away in time, b/c I'm not looking forward to seeing how many pairs of socks I'll go thru this season!
All in all, these boots are a solid 4 on my list.

I've worn this brand boot for years. Size runs true to me . I've worn 9 1/2 in the past, and thought i'd try a 10: big mistake; going just a bit big put painful pressure on the top of my feet. I returned them for the 91/2 and all is fine. they always have lasted well and the vibram soles are very tough.i recommend these for comfort and wear. The one drawback ,to me, is the fabric lining in the toe area. on my recent pair the lining has torn a bit and wrinkles. and attracts sock lint . I do the best I can to scratch out the lint and smooth the wrinkles between wearings. I like everything else about these boots so much , I just bought another pair when I found the price down, as a backup! I've found that the price varies up and down a lot , so I wait until I see them under a hundred dollars to buy. I bought the last pair under ninety bucks! Well worth trying in my opinion.

I manage a large Cattle Ranch in central California and as such I work outside, 7 days a week, in whatever conditions are present on that day. You can imagine what I walk in. I will go thru a pair of boots in about 6-7 months.
I have worn these Georgia Wedge Work Boots for as long as I can remember.
I have never worried about purchasing them online as Georgia Boots have always fit exactly the same, every time. There is no break-in period, I can pull them out of the box (treat with a waterproofing if going into our wet season), lace them up and go without the worry of having to change them out mid-day due any "newness".
They give me just the correct amount of support I expect, even when well past the "new" stage.
Highly recommended.

These were so comfortable out of the box when I first tried them on I actually forgot to take them off and wondered around the house for hours. Finally realized they were still on my feet when I sat on the couch and put my feet up and realized I didn't have my slippers on! Now after a couple weeks of working in these everyday on hard concrete floors they're even more amazing. No aching back at the end of the day. Highly recommend for spending the day standing, especially on hard floors which was exactly why I bought them.

Pros: Very comfortable, good support, Mostly durable construction

Cons: The toe stitch shows on the bottom of the boot and is susceptible to excessive wear and tear out of the stitches if you are engaged in any activity in which you use the first 1-2 inches of the boot against a rough surface. (grab some Shoe Goo and cover the stitches and this will not be a problem)

I would give these boots 5 stars If they came with the stitches already covered with a protector

This Boot is awesome. As a concrete Finisher this boot meets all my requirements. Flat full tread for minimal imprint. Super soft leather. The shoe shapes to your foot well. These shoes last. I've got 3 years use out of them. The laces last the life of the shoe. Great for all day comfort with support. Make sure you fit them well, that helps make them last and feel good. This is a work shoe!

They liked the look of this boot, and it was functional enough for their construction work jobs. But one son said his wore out really fast, also that they were not that comfortable. The other son said his always killed his feet - blisters, even when broken in - and that his feet hurt all day. I guess I will stick to gift cards for them or cash, and let them buy their own boots.
