This is the bumpin'est, most electrifying, stand-up-you're-healed music from a very professional and passionate choir. Keep it as good music, or keep it as medicine. The very best!

I've heard all of the Georgia Mass Choir Albums and it's good to know that there are still a few choirs , that still gives a person the feeling of good "ole time" gospel.

We literally "found" this CD in a truck and had never heard it or heard of it before. At first I really liked 1 song and would play it over and over. Then I had 2-3 favorites, and would simply skip to the ones I liked. Then I thought "hey, how about I listen to the whole CD", and sure enough I like the whole thing. My children learned the words to several of the songs and now I am looking to buy more CD's from this group and also to purchase and give this CD as gifts. Great CD.

I have always been a Georgia Mass fan and this is a very inpirational CD. If you haven't already gotten you ought to as soon as possible. It is truly an anointed CD.

You cannot have a Gospel music collection without The Georgia Mass Choir. The Music and more importantly, how the spirit of traditional Gospel is portrayed. I just can't get enough

You will love the Georgia Mass Choir - Greatest Hits. I play it in the car on my way to work in the morning. Very uplifting and wonderful to sing along with.

Only got it for one song . . . come on in the room. I only like it and one other song.

I was prepared to really enjoy this CD, because I have the soundtrack of "The Preacher's Wife" in which the Georgia Mass Choir appeared and sang many of the songs with Whitney Houston as the soloist. I have three points that I'd like to comment on: crowd noise, pacing of the songs, and song selection. First, I realize that the crowd is part of the live experience with gospel choirs. However, on this album, it becomes distracting. I would have preferred the recordings done in a studio without the audience or congregation to improve listening quality. Second, some of the songs were rather slow, and since they were joyous, upbeat songs, moving the pace along a little wouldn't have hurt. (like for example in "Joy".) Third, I disliked most the songs (2-3) with the gentleman narrator telling a story. Again, I know this is a part of folksong and black tradition, and part of the religious message. However, I mainly wanted to hear harmonious music that black gospel is known for. I generally program my CD player to skip the "story" songs. Otherwise, I had no fault at all with the singing itself which is, of course, excellent. Maybe after repeated listening I will be able to get into it and enjoy it more. However, after initial listenings I am rather iffy about it, and am still at the point where I wish I hadn't bought it. But I will keep trying to get into it more. I guess I just had the feeling that they were singing to the audience and not to me personally. And I think that with gospel music it is important to take into consideration the listener at home because she has bought the CD to hear the message.
