Not the full episode :(,

Gerard Butler's monologue has been cut out of this vid. I purchased it specifically for the monologue (because it was cut out of the vid on Hulu also) and was extremely disappointed that I wasted my $1.99. Otherwise a good episode.

As stated in other reviews, the monologue was cut out and this was not made clear up front. What is an SNL episode without the monologue?
But the biggest frustration was trying to watch the streaming episode - the quality was horrible. I'm on a Mac, so streaming was my only option. I have a 20mbps connection, and watch streaming content from other sites a lot without any problems. Amazon needs to work on their streaming quality. The stuttering audio connection was hard on my ears and very annoying. There were skips in the audio and the video, and sometimes the audio was lost altogether. I could not find any control allowing me to increase the buffer, so there was nothing to do but try to rewind on the spots where the stuttering was so bad that I could not understand what the actors were saying. Sometimes that helped, sometimes it didn't. Too bad - it looked like a fun episode. I'm just glad I didn't really have to pay for it because it was covered by a promotional credit from another purchase. Otherwise, I'd be asking for my money back. PS: I'm not generally this disgruntled - this is my first bad review for Amazon. I love their mail-order and mp3 download services. They just need to work on this new feature so the quality is on a par with their other services. |
