With a fiberglass-filled nylon handle and a high carbon stainless-steel blade, the Microlight L.S.T. is an exceptionally durable knife, yet light enough to be carried anywhere. It features a Zytel handle with a blade that pivots on a permanently lubricated bushing for smoother action and longer wear. It has a 1.75-inch stainless-steel blade that opens to a length of 3.75 inches. Made in the USA.

Very light, very small, very sharp. Just got mine, but after reading the reviews on this style of Gerber knife I was confident it would be of good quality, and it is.
One thing I was a little unsure of when deciding to purchase was whether or not the blade would lock when open, it looks as though there is a release on the handle in the photo, but I wasn't certain. So, now that I have it I thought I would share that, yes, the blade does lock open. So now you know. Enjoy.

This knife looked like it would be a winner, so I bought one for myself, and one for my Dad. I'm VERY disapointed. It doesn't hold an edge, the steel is horrid. I carried it every day for a month or so, and went back to my previous knife (Kershaw DWO)

Disclaimer - I'm a bit of a knife nut, and have a LOT of pocket knives, so I'm quite picky, and I'm willing to spend for a knife

In keeping with the Gerber tradition, this little knife very durable. I had the same knife for two years and never had any problems with it. I am now ordering a second one for a gift.
