I got this for a bit of hunting and camping as a utility knife. It does everything! When it arrived it was a little dull. 3 minutes on a whetstone got this thing super sharp. The Sharpener in the sheath is designed more for a quick sharpening. But, this blade does everything it says. I love this knife! It slices through meat like it was butter. Wood is no problem. Batoning works very well. I went through 15 logs and it never needed sharpening, until I bashed it against a rock. But, a couples of times through the shapener, and tada! Good as new. I can't praise this knife enough. Excellent product.
