My father loved this great looking set
I gave this as a Christmas present, and my Dad really liked the knives- he'll mainly use them for display in his knife collection. They appeared to be very nice construction for the sale price I paid (less than $25), but I'm no expert. They looked just like the Amazon picture, with striking burl wood and stag combo. Disappointed
Presentation is nice. Picture fooled me. I was expecting first quality metal workmanship - not there. I was expecting made in America - not there. Handle is extra thick - not good for a pocket knife.

THIS I PURCHASED FOR A GIFT. IT CAME FAST. IT LOOKS NICE BUT IT IS MADE IN CHINA. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW WELL IT WILL WORK AS IT IS A FOR CHRISTMAS. HAS A GOOD PRICE ON IT. FOR A GIFT I PREFER AMERICAN MADE ON MENS KNIVES SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER KNIVES. THEY DID A GREAT JOB GETTING IT HERE. SO I WILL KNOW IN DECEMBER HOW WELL THIS KNICE SET WORKS.

I've been a long time fan of Gerber knives. This is a nice little collectible. The box puts you in mind of a cookie tin, but the knives are standard Gerber quality. I'm not unhappy with the purchase.
