This knife was ok, but my favorites are the Gerber prodigy series. I have both the prodigy and prodigy tanto blades. The grip on these are far more comfortable than the warrant's grip. The prodigy grips are a hard, solid smooth rubber feel, where as the warrant's grip is two sided, with part of the metal blade shaft sticking out down the middle. Gerber's quality in thickness is still there, which I like. I use these knives as prying tools on my gear as much as I do "knives". The warrant's handle has a hard plastic feel, which in my experience, tends to get slippery with any type of moisture. Also, the shieth is thinner, and doesn't "click" in like the prodigy series do. BUT, as I began, it's still a great knife for the collection / for the money.

This is one of the better Tanto blades in the price range. This knife came hair shaving sharp out of the box and no problems with it whatsoever. The sheath is very high quality, and comes with a leg strap as well. It is a full tang blade with aluminum overlay scales for a handle. The blade is very thick and sturdy and I highly doubt anyone could break this blade under normal or even heavy use. Gerber uses a chinese made stainess steel which is powder coated. My experience with Gerbers and this steel have been ok. They are not the greatest at keeping an edge, but sharpens easily. This knife stands out in the price range because there are not many fixed blade Tantos in the $25-$30 range. Also... I've owned several gerbers over the years and have found that their coating on the blades are very well done, and have yet to have any of my gerber's rust on me. This knife is just a great leader in the price range, and is simple and pretty much indestructible!

Had this knife for one day before it helped me out of a jam, had it in my bug out bag in my truck when I got rear ended and pushed into the back of a semi trailer. My seat belt got jammed so I reached into my bag and pulled out my new knife to cut the belt, didn't even have to saw into the belt just put the blade to the belt and pushed, was like a knife through butter. Used the butt end to break the passenger window out and climbed out.

I was a little concerned about the size after reading the reviews about it being small and uncomfortable to hold. But I think the size is just right for what I use it for. The handle is a little uncomfortable but its not that big of a deal, the blade is very sharp and cuts easily through the safety belt in my chevy. The case it comes in is actually not bad, it is decent plastic, not kydex though, and is put together nicely holds the knife in snug and secure.

all and all I am very pleased with this knife.

I bought this thing about a month ago and its awesome I do tree work and alot of times that puts me several miles into heavily wooded areas with all sorts of needs as far as this knife is concerned.. it comes amazingly sharp like I've used it every single day to cut vines wood rope plastic and I haven't had to sharpen it yet.. the handle is all metal so if you sweat alot like me it can get a bit slick bull all around the knifes amazing and my only real complaint is the sheath really sucks.. and its a bit big to be practical as a tote around knife other than that its a deal..

Not bad! Although this knife borrows heavily from Benchmade's Nimravus, it's still decent in its own right. Like the blade and finish and it feels great in my hand. Wonder why some of the specs where hard to find though... Also wish it USA made! Overall a good knife at a very good price.

I love this knife! Sharp and ready for action out of the box! Coulda did without the gravel-flage on the sheath (*cough* ooh-rah *cough*). I removed the stock grips because they were a little thin for my liking and lacked texture and did a 550 cord Stryder wrap on it to increase grip incase of....fluids..., now its combat worthy. The full tang design made this super easy and quick. With a little can-o-man and the right size torques bits you can remove the screws to get to the goods. All in all, 10/10 for this fine piece of cold steel.
