Overall, I love this knife. The blade has no movement side to side and is very sharp. I was a bit worried about the clip, but haven't had any problems with it. Only real complaint I have is that there are some minor blemishes with the finish on the blade. When I first got it, it took two hands to open the blade. After playing with it for a while (10-15 minutes),I had no problems opening the blade with one hand.

this knife is simple incredible. it's very sharp right out of the box, it's extremely durable, has a neat metal/ hard plastic tough grip to it. this knife is perfect for persoanl protection in a boot or even jeans pocket. pocket clip isn't that good so i just unscrewed that part off...

only one issue with it- do not expect that this knife is a one-hand open. it does take two hands to pry this sucker open. once halfway opened, the thumb of the carrying hand can do the rest. i have practiced pulling the knife out and opening it, and honestly, within 10min you can get it down to a T.

try looking at some youtube vid reviews for more inofrmation... thanks, Nick.

Wow, this is my new favorite knife!

A rugged Post-Apocalyptic ECD, just like Gerber said it would be. For the time being I will use this as a Pre-Apocalyptic EDC!

Rick Grimes has this knife in a Modified Clip Point version, and he seemed to really have alot of fun with it. So I wanted to give this one a shot in the Tanto. I may have to get the other one too after playing around with this, it is just that nice. Might be cool to have one of each blade type so you can carry the same knife for different situations.

Wicked sharp right out of the package. Just touch that Tanto blade to paper and it melts right through it.

The weight of the knife feels great. Some say it's too heavy, but I say it's just built well. There is metal all inside the handle to support the pommel and locking mechanism. Everything feel 100% secure. You will love the way this beast feels in your hand!

Some people have stated that they can not open this one handed and will need to pry it open with both hands...I was able to open this one handed immediately (very easily in fact), and if you have the right wrist flick you can open it without using any thumb studs at all. The action is so clean, you'll almost get addicted to opening it. I haven't had a knife that made me smile this much ever.

I wasn't sure on the "wedge lock", as I have never had a knife with one, but I have to say I like it alot. You don't "need" to pull both sides down at the same time but you can if you want. (A cool little fun fact that I found just from playing with it is, if you depress the wedge lock with your thumb, you can give a gently but firm wrist flick and the blade deploy's as fast as the AUTO version). It's really cool, never had a knife I could do that with.

This was a very good knife. It is pretty large and very sharp. I recommend this for anyone looking for a wilderness knife.

I thought this would be a great knife after researching it for several weeks. I finally bought one, took it to my car opened the package and slid the wedge lock into position... it crumbled into pieces in my lap. I took it back into the store and got a refund. The blade was nice and sharp and the G-10 handle had a good feel to it. Loose the plastic wedge lock and you would have a pretty good knife.

Very well made. Sturdy and sharp. I heard some reviews stating the clip was problematic, but I see no issues. Highly recommend.

the weight. I DID NOT expected it's 2x/3x heavier than all the packet knives I have before this one. but it's sharp and very steady - that obviously far better than those I own previously, so I guess that's the trade-off.

but for those thing it's a "packet knife" you carry everyday, you might want to rethink that. (i gave it a 5 stars still because i think that's just me not reading the weights carefully, and expect something less)

I love it over all.

This is a powerful knife. Well made. Heavy duty. I would have bought the auto version but I don't want an illegal knife. This knife is your friend.
